My Wonderful Mother
So yesterday I found a video of my Mama singing in church. I had taken it about a year or two ago and forgot all about it. I cried and cried, but I am so glad that I found it! My Mom loved to sing and she lived for Jesus. She sang in church every Sunday and never missed it. Now she is singing in Heaven with the Angels and watching over us all! ~ I love you, Mama! And I miss you oh so very much! I am so thankful that I have that video. Now I can watch and listen to you sing whenever I want. You are the light shining down on me. You are the strength I have to get out of bed every morning. You are my constant, and my everything. You are my Angel! I am blessed to have you as a Mother. I had 30 WONDERFUL years with you and I know one day I will get to see you again. Until then I will always remember and always love and miss you! I know you are here with me! I love you, Mommy!
Missing Mama
I miss my Mom everyday! I even cry a little everyday. I will never regret doing her hair and make-up for the funeral, or spending as much time as possible with her in the hospital and hugging her neck after she passed. All of those things helped give me a little closure. And I have peace knowing she didn’t suffer but instead went straight to God’s kingdom. None of that however makes losing her any easier. And I would do anything for one more day with her! One more Christmas and Thanksgiving, one more trip to Walmart, one more visit, one more phone call, one more smile and “I love you”… I love you Mama and I miss you dearly!!!!
